How noisy is the focus motor on the 28mm pancake?

I feel like this lens is pretty close to what I’m after as a grab and go/walkaround lens, but I often shoot in quiet settings and am (irrationally?) annoyed by loud focus motors.

How does it compare to the other STM lenses?

feels like the EF 50mm f/1.8 stm, for noise, for performance the 28mm is a bit faster

The EF 28mm f/2.8 IS USM is more silent. And stabilized. Mechanically coupled focus ring. And you can use it with the drop in filter adapter.

It's inaudible most of the time. I can just barely hear the elements moving if I put my ear directly on the lens when in a quiet room. I don't hear it on the audio track with any of my shoe mount microphones. Not the greatest optical quality—black corners and plenty of distortion—rather slow AF and doesn't focus very close. An easy carry as a travel backup tho'. I like my RF 24 1.8 Macro IS STM a lot more.

Similar motor noise on that?
