It seems to me that you are fond of falsely accusing people of making personal attacks against you. Why that is, I am not certain. It could be evidence of what we in English refer to as a "victim mentality". I am not sure if there is an equivalent translation to German.

I agree with others that now might be a good time for the Hide button. Sometimes, people need attention, but when they get it, they just crave more of it.

There is: victim mentality" is "Opfermentalität" in German.

So questioning my motives is not a personal attack in English? Interesting. By all means: Use the Hide Button. I will.

Just in case anyone cares to listen to the 27WR focussing in MF on the X-Pro3: https://recorder.google.com/30fe8ad9-a995-4a3e-ad39-17f5960905b7 If you keep your finger on the lens, you can feel the lens "work" :-)

This weird Fuji X lenses behavior in MF mode is what primarely turned me away from all AF options. Manual mechanical lenses have few benefits that making shooting experience better overall, and I appreciate that:
- no automatic wasting time on focus change when previewing image and returning to shooting
- no extra noise of focusing
- no extra noise of jumping aperture
With some practice manual focus works great for many situations. Fuji AF system is awesome, but few minor flaws like this can spoil whole experience.

That is why I have ordered the Voigtländer 18f2.8. But I must say that the small Classic Primes (16/23/35/50) and the 90f2 also behave well in MF.

He doesn't have to read the whole thread. This is all he needs:

Dan: "They make a sound. A very soft, quiet sound. I use those lenses all the time. I NEVER even notice the sound when shooting. I suppose that if I sit in my quiet studio and operate the camera and think about it that I can notice it, but it is soft. They are not “noisy.” That’s just ridiculous."

I was shoting with XF primes 14/18/35/56/60 for long time since 2012 and due to refocusing in darker conditions was often slow the MF mode with AF-L use was more efficient with single AF action then multiple model shots without refocusing.
It was very annoying discovery primarily with macro shots uing XF 60mm - lens is shaking AF on half press and messing the previoisly well AF focused distance. Later I noticed that with 56mm.
Iiked sjooting with XF 27mm as a compact set, but enjoyed it much more after converting to full real mechanical MF.
CV 35, 27mm and 18mm are my new favorite primes on Fuji.

Using the CV 21f3.5, 35 APO and 65 APO on my Sony cameras. The best lenses I have for Sony. The 18mm just arrived and first impression on the my cameras is very good. Too bad that there is limited communication with the X-E3, though.
