p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · R5 Mark ll ES Dual Gain ?

Just curious has anyone with the new R5 Mark ll done any dynamic range testing ?
Looking at the Photons to Photos website they show the new Mark ll body using the ES that indeed at ISO 500 there seems to be a gain being applied like the Nikon Z8/Z9
If so this is good news. Either shot at base ISO to 200 then go straight to ISO 500

Yes, it has dual-gain at ISO 500. Most (all?) Canon cameras for the past number of years have had a dual gain.
R5 had it at ISO 400 and it was a really big jump if in Mech shutter. R5II is now doing it at ISO 500 like the Z9 and A1.
