Hi EBH,

User "Yaniv" in thread below reported that Adobe has released ACR 16.5 which supports the R5II. Since I no longer use ACR, I can't verify this.

I can verify that it is supported. I've had mine for a few weeks (not allowed to say where I got it).

I am not finding the Canon DPP software for the R5 II. If it has been abandoned, then I have a massive problem and must cancel all the pre-orders. I'm not interested in alternative software. Thanks.

@EB-1

DPP 4.19.10 is now available for download.

Prompted for a serial number to start the download. The system accepted the serial number of my 5D Mark III.

The icons are Pink and the weird part is that the file is dated May 13, 2024. Canon has been withholding it for 99 days! The last time I obtained a body right after release they gave you a CD.

I know that the color scheme is a bit out there. And it's not surprising that Canon had been sitting on the new version for a while. I am pretty sure that they had to get their software up and running before June/July of this year to enable all the credentialed Olympics photographers get their photos out as needed.

I suppose the file format was finalized long ago. Other than R5 II support the DPP 4.19.10 appears to be exactly the same as the 4.18.10 was.
