Very nice Dan. I can’t explain why, but I’ve only seen a handful of butterflies this year of any kind. And only had an opportunity to photograph one. Actually a pair on the same bush which I posted here a while back. No butterflies, no grasshoppers, no woolly bears, no argiope spiders. i’m really missing this stuff. What are we doing to our environment, Ohio? 🙁

Thanks Karl! Most are from the past "Wings of Fancy Butterfly Shows"..When covid it the Country Conservatory shut the event down.

I offered to be the docent and supervise the "Photographer's Only" shows but the County declined!

Most of these "wingers" are from a County Conservatory "Flights of Fancy" show years past. When covid hit the County cancelled them for good!
It has been a very weird summer here in Mary-land! Extremely hot and humid with very little rain in my area. I noticed fewer birds, butterflies and anything flying/crawling!

Hopefully next year will be better!
