Curious where you found the multiple exposure/composite images?

Not great, but here's one from Judo (and Canada silver medallist to boot):

Women's gymnastics:

Interesting mix of new and old in the one above. Pretty typical of what I see at football games.

For those that are more observant, the point of this posting was to show the ten or more motorized cameras hanging from the wall that are taking the synchronized photos. I don't know or care what brand of camera they are.

Sure, I saw that. Looks like a cool set up, hard wired with external power and ethernet. Looks like a pseudo 'bullet time' configuration. Is there information about where we can see more of the results from that set up?

My guess is those cameras are just remotes of various agencies shooting an angle where a photographer is not allowed, not synchronized photos.

No offence; she was the gold medalist!!!!! Our first for Canadian Judo. I'm a Judoka so I was watching lol

Those cameras were present at the 2019 World Judo Championships I photographed in Tokyo. There were literally 200 plus cameras set to create the 3d perspective for replay from every angle. I think they will be replacing many of the photographers moving forward unfortunately.

Many of the agencies have positions to place static remotes in places the venue will not allow a photographer - for safety or broadcast areas that are for video only. These remotes can be fired in several ways- hardwire to footswitch, pocket wizard remote by hand or other newer technologies such as ethernet with remote triggering software.
I cant say for 100% that these shown above are a given static position in this venue- they could also be for broadcast wide angle shots also.

I'm pretty sure my head would explode if they let me in this room.

Wouldn't it be nice to be told you could keep everything you could carry.
I'd grab everything in the first two racks closest to the camera on the second rows, then hang as many 400's by their straps in my teeth and keep both hands ready to grab a couple of those 100-300's as I head out the door.

I'd keep one each of the 400, 600 and 100-300 and sell the rest. My wife and I would be able to go on nice trips every year for the rest of our lives.

Based on the massive quantity, I lost count around 30, I take it that the 400 f/2.8 is extremely popular for the Olympics?
