No, when the old filters are okay for you, dont replace them.
Never change a running system!

Working as optics designer for a camera company I can tell you the consumer filters are not well enough defined (specified) to be clear which brand filter is better for which application than the other from the public accessible data.
So a change would be a kind of gambling.

other than if it already fits use it i agree with and do it, but i think the situation is getting overstated. to change is less so "gambling". there are known products/manufacturers that are at a level of consistency where one does not need to turn it into a science project.

If you choose to purchase “off” brands. You are on your own.

I just use whatever as long as it's a reputable brand (in my case I prefer B+W).

I put UV and clear filters on ALL of my lenses and basically never remove them. It's all for protection since I shoot in faster paced environments with a lot of moving things and people (including me). I also wipe down my gear after every outing, and I don't want to risk light scratches on front elements from cleaning them frequently.

I personally haven't noticed any particular effects on image quality whether it's clear or UV or none. Testing might show something if you investigate hard enough, but in real world shooting, the difference might not mean anything.
