I don't photograph flowers very often but when I do, they are in my yard. Convenience at it's finest....and maybe a little lazy as well. 😊

I find that the actual botanical names of flowers are.....well.....kinda weird sometimes.
This one, for example, is a Gazania. Well OK! Sounds like something from a TBBT episode.

I just think it's kinda interesting and pretty. 🤷‍♂️ I hope y'all like it.

Thanks Carol. They are quite striking in real life. Props go the the resident botanical garden designer for adding them to the landscape this year.

Thanks for the atta boy KC. I may be wrong (it happens a lot), but I think we only have the one plant and it's in a large container. I can just imagine how beautiful numerous Gazania plants of different colors might be.

Thanks for the kind words regarding my sharpening technique. It is the culmination of trial an error using bits and pieces of various tidbits of information gathered from members of the FM community.
