As many have been dealing with, New York City has had a heat wave. I chose to go to Nickerson Beach in the morning to catch the off shore breeze and instead, what I caught was hot fog! Most of these images were taken while wading in water that felt as it usually dose at it's warmest September. It was still a relief and much cooler than inland. As I was in the surf, I composed my images to show the unusual perspective as I photographed the birds.
Comments and suggestions welcome,
Morris
