Amazing capture! Who would have ever thought we could go birding on MF with a 500mm. So cool with all the detail, especially in the eyes and fine feathers.

I wonder about his pose though, wings drooping like that and beak agape, it makes me think maybe he's over-heated or in distress, and that is why he ignored you, as he had problems of his own to deal with?
