Dan I think that loon call across a quiet lake before the sun comes up goes right to your sole.

film_4 ever we were out in a pontoon boat, spot the loons figure out which way they we’re moving get on the right side a good distance away and shut off the motor and just wait and often they swam towards us (sometimes passing right by us)

Eric the takeoffs was so much fun.. one of the group would decide to leave and you just had to hope you were in the right place. They are quick and noisy slapping the water as they takeoff
