Some more from a butterfly shoot years ago cancelled by Covid..still.
FYI..many butterflies have different wing patters and colors according to how you are viewing the butterfly. One of the most obvious is the "Blue Morpho" shown here. The "recto view is when viewing fron the top...the "verso" is from the underside of the wing.

Fun stuff Dan! Like the reverse pattern/color info, that is very cool.

It always baffles me how successful popular events get cancelled, how restaurants that are always packed with lines out the door go out of business and some restaurants that always seem dead empty survive for decades. I guess it is varied reasons... But it still sucks that the butterfly event didn't regain its momentum after covid. Sorry dude!
