I like what you are doing here and appreciate the value of a good black point. Can you get more detail in the blacks of the head and wing while still maintaining good contrast?

Jim, it looks to me like you did more work on the image following the suggestion Morris made and it does look a lot better. It's such an unusual composition that it deserved the extra effort. Great image!
