R100 not reporting 1.4x tc

p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · R100 not reporting 1.4x tc

I received my RF 1.4x tc yesterday, and attached it to my R100 & RF 100-400 lens. When I checked the exif I noticed it either had 100mm or 400mm @ f/8, not 140 or 560 @ f/11. Is that normal? It's no big deal, but was just curious. It did report when I had the same set up on my R6. Thanks

The R100 is not compatible with extenders: https://cam.start.canon/en/H001/supplement_0170.html

I have no idea of the criteria for putting things on that list, it is a weird one.

It might not be compatible, but it works, as I can see the fl difference with and without it. It's no big deal
