My apologies if this has been asked before.
I thought somebody had already posted how to prioritize Card 1 over Card 2 and make it the permanent priority card; however, I have searched the forum several times and cannot find anything.

I am attempting to make Card 1 the priority card even after it has been removed and returned to my R3.
Currently, if it is removed, the camera makes Card 2 the priority slot, and the only way I can change it, is to power the camera down, then remove Card 2, and then insert Card 1. Turn the camera back on and then add Card 2.
This is a long winded way of doing things.
I want to keep Card 2 as a second card to record to, only when Card 1 has been filled up.

I have found multiple ways to record photos or videos to separate cards etc., but his is not what I'm after.
Does anybody have a way to set this up, and also to have this set up in the My Menu area?
I appreciate any time and help you can provide.

You need to select card 1 under the camera record/play menu as well as clicking [info] to make it the priority card.

Note: Hitting the "Info" button once you highlight your desired card places a check mark in the Priority box as shown in the pic below. I think this is what many people miss or overlook.
You will need to do the same for video.
