who knows... most are scared to throw their images + name.
Then receive comments about them.

Not sure why. If I wanted to learn.... I would post.

Well, for one thing, you can't upload photos to here directly unless you have an Upload and Sell paid membership. You can host photos elsewhere and link to those to embed them, but... that's a pain in the ass. Posting in FB groups etc. is much easier. That may contribute. But there's also just significantly less traffic here than on social media and other online groups outside of forums.

Honestly it's a pain in the ass to upload photos here. Copy and pasting hosting links for individual photos is annoying and I don't even have a place to do it anymore because I don't use Wordpress which made it kinda easy. I would love to share sets here, I miss the days of CC on FM, but unless they update the functionality of it, I ain't got time for it.

Perhaps just a little smaller though, say…3 inches on the long side @ 150 dpi or less. That way we can look at photos without having to scroll the whole page. Nice photo with cleverly concealed rim lighting!

It's not a print, so I don't know why we're talking about inches and dpi. lol
Here's a smaller version though.

Such a cool shot. Were there trees in the background with the warm LEDs strewn on them?

Thank you. Yes, this was the driveway to the venue. Trees were on the sides and overhead, all lined with string lights.

Resizing photos to maybe 3-4 inches on the long side @ 72/150 dpi is all you need for web photos.

Again, why are you talking in inches and dpi? That's only for printing. I'm posting these at 1,600 pixels tall and they show in the forum perfectly on my 4k monitor.

Semantics. (I’m used to printing albums and canvas), but when sizing for web use, I still use the dpi setting and long side dimensions for display. Pixels per inch which is basically the same thing as it relates to resolution, so let's go with that. The point is, you don’t need to display full page photos to show your work. It’s like a looking at a website portfolio. Photos scaled to the entire page can be tedious to scroll through. This isn’t a critique of your photos, which are nice, but easier to peruse a photography thread.

Maybe it's time to upgrade from 1080p. Here's something a little more your size, though.
