When I shoot field sports (American football, mainly) I usually use two bodies. usually with something like 70-200 and a 300 f2.8. I typically have the larger lens attached to a Magpul QD sling, then I keep the second body in a toploading holster pouch.

I'm thinking about trying something different, maybe something like a Black Rapid dual camera harness (though I think I might find a way to modify it so that it uses QD instead of the standard tripod threads), or I might try the Cotton Carrier.

Anybody have any dual camera strap/bag/harness configurations that they like?

I generally shot field sports (rugby, soccer-football) with three cameras; EF 500/4L IS on a monpod (with a clip-on tether to a diagonal sling across my chest); and one body on either shoulder, hanging down to relaxed-arm finger height, on modified Domke Gripper 1 1/2" straps (longer than regulation). If I expected to scramble around a bit, I'd cross the Domke straps diagonally arcoss my torso, and they're very stay-put.
