p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · (Temporary) Display Lighting ... ???

I have a 24 x 32 framed canvas that will be on a temporary display as part of a "blind auction" for a charity benefit.

The piece is a bit "lackluster" in soft, ambient lighting, but comes alive when well lit. The charity will be doing all the setup, but will likely put the piece on an easel. Although, I don't think they have anything to "properly" light the piece.

Curious what approach might be considered (not sure if electrical is available, or needs to be battery), so all ideas are welcome. Looking for something better than just a utility clamp light ... it is a "dressy" gala event. Would like to present well.

Chrome C-stand in back of the easel with a daylight balanced LED light over the art piece on a 40” arm. Make sure to polish the chrome!

It was kind of a “tongue in cheek” answer, but your question provides minimal information since you don’t know where they will place the piece. If you’re sure they will provide an easel, you might consider an articulating arm you attach to the easel and clamp a nice battery-powered light over the piece. Without more info it’s very difficult to provide other solutions.
