Shot as 3 horizontals stitched into a pano which added a focus stack effect and increased resolution.

Just beautiful Jim! It makes for a fantastic foreground! My eye was drawn completely into the image and beyond!
Very well done!

Thanks for the comments guys. The stormy day and clouds worked well for B&W.

Your image appears worthy of the f/64 club!

Excellent composition. This would do well in a competition, though optically, I feel the darkness in the clouds could be pulled back 20-30%. The cloud structure outcompetes the attention of the mid and foreground.

You write: "Shot as 3 horizontals stitched into a pano which added a focus stack effect and increased resolution."

So 3x horizontals, each with new focal points for increasing distance from the camera and stitched?

Thanks for the detailed comments Wayne. I really appreciated another view point. You are right about the dark clouds - I might have overdone them (I tend to do that). Yes, to the focal point and shooting.
