I have to admit that I haven't been shopping their lenses lately, though I have been looking at databacks.

That page brings up a question --

When they say that it's a "20mm equivalent focal length" what are they using as their reference point? Are they saying that 25mm on the X system is equivalent to 20mm on 6x6? Or something else?

Interesting focal length & aperture, lighter than I'd have guessed for the specs.. maybe still a bit heavier than I want.

Not sure how the >400g lenses balance on the 907x

I'm a sucker for little details like using the H logo as the grip on the dials.. such a nice touch.

I was hoping for something longer in focal length, something like the GF 250 F4 in the Fujifilm GFFX line would be great...but wishful thinking...

25mm is an interesting focal length...nice and wide, plus fast...this might replace my 38v...which I absolutely love...

To Full-Frame 35mm cameras.

In terms of focus separation it is probably also equivalent to a 20mm f2 on FF 35mm.

Will have mine mid/late next week.

Reviews look good. It'll be interesting to test against the 28. Tiny vs featured.

Looks like coma wide open isn't great, but I guess Astro is not the intended use case.

A friend in my town showed me his new 907x, and I loved the shooting style. I wish I had never seen this camera before!

It is a LOT of fun
Ironically feels like a more convenient Leica since its (slow but adequate) autofocus and live view

A bit harder for portraits, but I don't have the grip..

Have used it with the 28p and 45p, and suspect a 38v or 55v might be more my sweet spot

The 907x (I have the 50C) is an absolute blast with the 38V and 55V. I REALLY wish Hasselblad would update the firmware to have the EV comp as the primary camera dial function in aperture priority. Currently you can have ISO, with EV as a secondary, which is less convenient for that mode.

Other than that it's a JOY to shoot. I use mine a LOT in square (1:1) mode and am contemplating getting to 100MP version just to have it as a square only 80MP camera.

I received the 25V today. I wonder how long the wait is going to be if you did not press the buy button immediately... The 28P and the 90V are still not readily available in stock in the US.

Got mine as well about an hour ago. A cm longer than the 90, for those wanting to know. Similar, maybe *slightly* quieter shutter than the 90. Same great handling.

I don't think this will replace my 28. More supplement it when I want something faster. The 28 is almost exactly half as big. Same weight and length as the 21 but somewhat slimmer.

Yeah this is what I am wondering. The 28 is almost as wide (AoV) but so compact and easy to carry. Having the 21/4 already I am not sure I see the 25/2.5 in my future. I was really hoping for something like an 18mm but no such luck.
