New for me anyway. I've shot with the flash in manual mode, and with the flash heads in a key and fill configuration with a Kaiser Adjustable Flash Shoe. But this is the first time I've done both, and set the fill one stop under the key. Still working on the diffusion, even though I like now it looks now.
Went looking for a test target for a new diffusion and flash setup and found this Soft Winged Flower Beetle on a Buttercup.
Tech Specs: Canon 90D (F11, 1/125, ISO 200) + a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens (set to 2x) + a diffused MT-26EX-RT, manual mode, key (A) on a Kaiser Adjustable Flash Shoe set to 1/16 and the fill (B) set to 1/32. This is a single frame taken hand held. In post I used Topaz Photo AI and Clarity in that order.
