Yet another “what backpack?” thread

I picked up a Nikon 180-600 lens, and noticed that I have a hard time fitting it into any of my backpacks.

Since I have to get a new backpack, I might as well get something for photography trips that I am hoping to do in 2-3 years (northern BC and safari). Basically I need something that is carry-on compliant, and that can hold

2 Nikon z6 sized bodies, Tamron 70-200 with FTZ, Nikon 180-600, either Nikon 14-30 or Nikon 24-70 f4, and some filters

I have seen a lot of threads on bags, but have no sense what could hold the above and be carry on compliant.

Any insight and suggestions would be very much appreciated

Can't help you directly, but thought I should mention that Think Tank is currently having a 25% off sale on their backpacks. For each one they include an image with contents, and a description of what can fit. Also, if you decide that one of their bags is right for you but need more info, you can always call them to get specifics.

Good luck with your quest

Old thread, but take a look at the Gura Gear packs. I had one from the original iteration of the company and it was well made and well designed. Also the Think Tank packs are very well made.

Mindshift Backlight 26L ticks those boxes.
You can also consider the NYA-EVO Fjord 36 Econyl with an L insert or RCI.
I own both of these backpacks and should fit the gear mentioned.
