It looks like the serial # on my lens is missing. Usually they are engraved but this one appears to have been glued in?

The S/N is available in the EXIF of images taken with the lens.

On that certain lens, the serial number is printed on a sticker and affixed. Over time, I find that the sticker peels and/or fades.

There was a sticker but it is now lost. I bought it used from a private party. I feel better knowing I am not alone in this.

If anyone is around the Parke County covered bridges (IN) let me know if you find it. Maybe a Gary IN air show? It is a well-traveled lens so I do not hod out much hope.
