For my M11 I use one on Lim's design half cases with aluminum opening bottom, grip, and ARCA SWISS dovetails all in one. Does everything I want and is very affordable.
For the M10, I can get a half case to protect the camera body, with an opening bottom, and a grip, but no ARCA SWISS. If I put an ARCA SWISS plate on it will either interfere with the door, or be off center and be awkward when setting the camera down. I have an Oberwerth one I found used. Really nice.
I have a Really Right base plate and grip that works well, but doesn't provide battery access, or camera protection.
I find that for the M10 it is hard to get everything I want in one solution.
Either of the two choices you listed would be great except no half case.
