what do you think and how do you deal with a situation where the host (your close friend) hand your a camera during a party, and ask you to take pictures for him.

If it's a boring party and nice camera, I might shoot a bit.

However, if I'm having a good time and I'm handed a smartphone, I'd likely click two or three frames the return to my good time. In the era of pandemics and politics, good parties are rare and when I hit one, I don't want to work. Well, I might volunteer to DJ :-)

honestly as long as I don't have to edit I'll snap a few photos. That's fun and easy and I'm good at it. Just fuck off if you ask me to edit.

If it's like a cell phone, Polaroid camera, or whatever, sure.

If it's an actual camera and they want more than a few photos, not my problem + can't do it as it doesn't match my style with lighting (flash, OCF, etc.).
