You can get a "dual hot shoe splitter" on Amazon.ca, with contacts for either Canon or Nikon. If the Sony hot shoe contacts match one of these (probably Canon), then it might work. I expect you need all of the proper contacts to be 'live', in order for the advanced flash features to work.
OTOH, I'd prefer to give full priority to the transmitter, on the hot shoe, and find another way to mount the mic. Easiest would be to mount it on the camera tripod screw. Next easiest, might be to mount the mic on the side plate of a camera "L" bracket.
