I’ve been following this discussion as I’m looking for small shoulder/sling bag. After much searching I just ordered the Wotancraft Canteener 3.5L with camera inserts. I had pretty much decided on Wotancraft but their Pilot series was either too small, 3.5L, or large,10L.

I’ll post my thoughts once the bag arrives and gets used.

I see you've made your choices. I found the Wotancraft bags cool looking, but stiff and scratchy. The Billingham Hadley small (a bit bigger than your digital) has become my favorite bag and I also have many. TT Retrospectives come in 2nd for me - well designed and comfy to carry. But heavier than the Hadley. I was wondering when you mentioned the Turnstyle 5 if you had actually seen it in person, because it's not very big. I have the 10, bought after I saw how small the 5 was. Anyway, sounds like a lot of us have "bag issues..."

My Wotancraft Canoteener has arrived. Shipped very quickly with FedEx. Very nice quality, good hardware, and extremely light. Easily carries two Nikon Z50 bodies, one with Voightlander lens attached, a 50-250 kit lens, and one more lens. All of this is in the main section. Two outer pockets in front and a zippered pocket in the rear for other stuff.

I think it will be my main go bag for my smaller cameras. Or I could carry my Z6 and 24-70 f/4 in the bag.

More on Wotancraft bags. I asked them about a shoulder strap pad for Canteener bag as they do not list one. They checked the pads for their larger Pilot bags and said they would work. And they even sent photos of a pad on my bag.
Nice to do business with a company that responds quickly to questions.

I'd hate wearing a bag just to hold my camera. Would rather just get a camera strap at that point.
