I look cautiously at the "influencers" "reviews." Track record, working in the field and not just influencing. Every new product should not be the best thing ever. are they producing quality product and not just "reviews?" Are they producing a range of comprehensive "how tos?" Strong in-depth use of the products? Taking images from a camera, on location, then through Lightroom (etc.) to get results, etc.
One I was watching the other day was discussing how some folks were changing their approach. apparently, the monetization algorithms may have changed or the numbers of content producers is growing so much that the effort to prepare timely and good product is just not pulling in the needed views so forcing them to decide if the "influencing" can be their real job or just back to a side gig.
And some of them it's pretty obvious it's hack cashery not competent reviewing. Do they discuss the relationship with the brands and the pproduct avaiability to them, compensation in any form?
