I have two Leofoto monopods, a couple of their heads, and a few plates. Their monopods are essentially just legs from their various tripod lines. I don't have the exact one you are referencing, but looking at it, the design language is the same.

The items I have from them are all rock solid, built to an extremely high standard, and have lots of nice little details that you don't find on all other products such as silicone foam and o-rings sealing every leg segment. Compared to competing brands like RRS, Kirk, Peak Design, Gitzo, etc, at least in the items I've been able to compare (which is far from all of them), the quality is the same and in some cases even better, in my opinion. I've also had very good experiences with their customer service.

I know that doesn't address the exact item you're asking about but I have been extremely happy with my Leofoto gear.

Looks like LG is a combination of the LQ (Mr Q) plus the legs of the Athena/Poseidon (LA/LP) tripod. So many tripod choices on their websites. The LG silver looks amazing.

Very nicely built tripod,,,, and well equiped (with included column). It's like a cross between a 2-series Systematic (with smaller spyder than the 3-series Systematic), and a 3-series Mountaineer. However, I'd want to check out the max height with column down.,, and I'd need to see how low it can go. (I haven't checked the specs), The same model in a "Long" configuration might also be something to consider,, if it exists. It looks a bit short when looking at the legs alone.

LG 324C is
"Max. Height with center column fully extended: 1685mm / 66.3 inches
Max. Height with center column retracted: 1395mm / 54.9 inches"

I was thinking maybe getting the series LA 324 C (Athena red) which has the same legs (sand and water titanium protection) as LG series . It does not have a center column but I can add Leofoto DC-322C extension column, This would make it identical in height to LG series and save money .

The "column retracted" spec of 1395mm includes the head, so assuming the head is 5" tall;; (12cm's) that's 127cm's w/ column down.(legs only)

Here's a video, and the demo-guy is 6',1". It would even be lower since the winged column nut would also be removed, and that's at least another 5cm's.
