Just starting with this beast of a cam...
This is a 250 image stack, using an older Canon 100mm macro lens, combined with Helicon Focus.

Really interesting look. I have yet to play with this on the ArV. I did it a little on the OM1 but need to read up on how many pics you have to take. Seems like it is pretty complicated but I’m sure there is a rule that makes it simple to think through.

Remarkable picture!

What was your lighting setup? (I'm assuming that you shot it indoors to avoid any breezes.)

Nice shot, but there's some funkiness around some of the stamens, esp. at 10 o'clock. You need to go over the stacked image with a fine tooth comb while in HF or Zerene and retouch where appropriate.

Extremely unique and creative! I have never done focus stacking nor do I really understand its function. But if this is the result, then I had better broaden my photographic horizon!
Superbly well done!

Interesting and original. Looks visually good. I need to learn focus stacking.

Beautiful photo! I am always wondering whether zero focus breathing in lens is required for stacking such photos?

Olympus/OM cameras, and the Canon R6 II will do in-camera focus-stacking, and in many cases you can do it handheld.

7 to 10 stacked images should give as good or better results than the image posted.

The higher the number of images stacked does not always produce the best results and in fact can make the final image look worse.
