Swiss Museum of Transport is absolutely amazing and a must visit if you are visiting Lucerne. Sharing couple of images during my visit.
First image is Gotthard tunnel Hard Rock gripper tunnel boring machine (Note: I did replace the sky in this image). Here is a link if you are into engineering and science.

Thanks for viewing and welcome all CC

Holy Drills Batman...That thing is huge...30' maybe ?
Be nice if you or someone was in a pix to show size but it's quite impressive.
Nice shots.

Thanks Bill! As I was getting ready to post this, I thought of the exact same thing you mentioned.

Thank Dan!
Switzerland's transportation system is mind-blowing! Unlike my 3-hour, 38-mile odyssey in LA traffic, here, you can effortlessly reach any corner, even mountain peaks, by public transport. Talk about an engineering marvel!

I thought it might have felt right at home at Skywalker Ranch. I'm surprised there's no clock face on that. Very cool regardless. Both images. Thanks for sharing Parul.

European/Asian Countries did rail travel the right way. America did not!
Yes getting from DC to NYC is fast on the Acela but that is about it!

I traveled all across Australia in 1970 by train and it was EXCELLENT!!

At my age I would love to travel via a train across America but taking many weeks or a month! ??
The rails are there but they dont use them for "people movement" very well Parul!

Nice images. I took a Swiss train through that tunnel last Spring and it went on forever even at high speed.
