This ole Relic is hangin in there but in the day it was a work horse.
.
.
This Harris Harvester, built in 1920, is part of the Klamath Basin farming legacy that began in the 1860s. The Harris 18' Giant Harvester was built in Stockton, CA and stayed in production for over 20 years. A crew of 5 to 6 harvested Hanchen barley using this Harris harvester. Klamath Basin farming began over 130 years ago, but really began to grow after the first allotment of land to homesteaders in 1917.

Always love these forerunners of modern farm equipment Bill!

I have a neighbor who collects old farm equipment when there were no tires for the rims. Just solid metal "tires".
Belt driven harvesters and balers.

Great work!
Dan

Thanks Dan,
There is definitely some heat ole farm equipment out there and old cars as well.
Found some old cars in the bushes in Fort Klamath a while back, still had the wooden wheels on it.
