I am curious to hear recommendations for wildlife lens compatible with a Z8 or 9. Would prefer a zoom, in the 100-400 range, or thereabouts, f/4ish 5ish. Also, inviting opinions re. which is the superior wildlife body, Sony A7r5 (for mostly stationary or slow moving targets), Canon R3, or the Nikon Z8 or 9. I am most familiar with the Canon and Sony lines. Have owned an A1 with the 100-400 and the 200-600. Sold that gear thinking I was done with photography and now regretting it. I do not want to spend the $$ for another A1. Owned the Canon R5 100-500, was not crazy about that setup. Favorite lens of all time was the Canon 400mm DO ii with the IDXiii. I sold that gear. Dumb move, (but not the first or last, I'm sure). Obviously, I am thinking about buying some new gear and doing a little preliminary research.
