Agree with being still and silent as one of the best ways to see more wildlife. I’ve read before how deer, for instance, can see blue colors very well - so blue jeans would apparently not be what to wear when going after deer. While sitting against trees, I’ve had squirrels within a few feet of me before and, when the wind is right, I’ve deer within 8 yards. In a blind, I’ve had turkey within 8-10 yards (their eyesight is so good that it’s tough to get them that close in the open!).
Lately, my camo patterns have been Huntsworth Tarnen or Cabela’s True Timber Strata. Those seem to blend better with shadows but when things green up it seems they stand out more. Also have some lighter weight 3D leaf scent block. I’ll use pop-up blinds or I’ll sit against a tree.
Like joboyle9808, I’ve heard others talking about it and have seen the ads. I figured that some photographers might have tried it so I posted this inquiry. I’m tempted to buy the HECS but know that much of the advertising claims don’t pan out in the real world.

As I’ve said, I have no experience, but my curiosity got me to the Amazon reviews on this stuff. Lots of people seem to think it works, while others say it makes no difference. A common theme seems to be that the material is thin, so better to be used underneath other clothes, which then makes the coloring of course something that doesn’t matter.
