Had a lucky time with a Short-eared Owl hunting over a few hours. All backlit which led to some interesting photos.

Thanks! Afternoon.. from about 2:00-4:30pm (sunset was at 5:08). We stopped observing after it caught something and disappeared to eat it, figured it was done hunting until sunset.
