Hi all I just got Fotodiox pro adapter for my Pentax 645 lens.
I got the adapter with the aperture control and I wish I picked a different one.

The aperture ring on the adapter is not able to hold the aperture of the lens in place which is so weird.
It happens with all 645 lenses. Do any of you had this issue and do you know how I could "fix" it?
I would hate to wait another 3 weeks to get a replacement.

Thank you!

Here is a clip of this weirdness.

Looks like an internal ratchet gear or friction band is not working. I'd contact Fotodiox to hear their explanation. If they don't have a quick and proper solution, I'd ask for a replacement to be shipped now, and return the first one after receiving the second one (which works properly). If they require you to return the first one, before they send the second one, I'd cancel the whole thing and request a full refund. If they balk at this, I'd use my buyer protection to claw back the full amount. If I didn't have buyer protection (e.g. PayPal for an item), I'd wish I did.

In the meantime, a piece of gaffers tape should hold it in place.
