Looking for suggestions on cheap camera with intervalometer for star trails. I want something cheap enough that I can leave it overnight where there may be people and I don't have to worry about it being stolen etc. I'm thinking something like a Nikon d5000 with kit lens. Would like at least a 1" sensor and moderately wide lens. Maybe even an older gopro (not sure how long battery would last.) Budget <$100.
