Not a screaming deal, but bought a contax 645 with prism, 80/2 and film back for $3500. It arrived and appeared almost brand new. Quite happy.

I bought a boxed V800 Epson scanner off FM for $400. The scanner was complete, came with a full version of Silverfast Studio and the seller thru in a stack of 8 photography books including a 2-inch thick, antique early 20th century book on photography that I now have on display in one of our cabinets in the house. Some of the books are huge coffee table books and all are on film photography. Also included were a bag of cotton gloves for handling the negatives and a free medium sized LED light table that I later gave to my daughter who is a full time professional portrait photographer, and extra negative holders in addition to the full set that came with the scanner.

I also found a 'new in box' GEPE 12x18 light panel for under $150 on eBay. The panel is perfect and sits alongside my scanner. It fits two sheets of sleeved negatives at the same time. These two things have been fantastic to use and are like new for such great prices. Very happy camper. I also bought new covers for both as shown below.

During a recent GAS attack, I got the urge to get one more long zoom, although I had previously resisted the urge to by "off brand". I'm faithful to Nikon so I bypassed the non-OEM lenses. This time, however, I did a lot of research, and found a Tamron 150-600mm f/5.6-6.3 Di VC USD G2. It's been marginal, weather-wise, take it out for a real workout, but several test shots through the focal length range, makes me think this will be a great buy.

I do have Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6, and a newer Nikkor 80-400 f/4.5-5.6 G, but this Tamron is enticing. I'll pair it with my D850, or my Z7 ii.

My latest purchase is the Samsung AF Slim Zoom. I heard of this camera from @Desmolicious. I found mine on eBay for $20. Equipped with a 35-70 zoom, it takes CR123 batteries. It has a bunch of shooting features including a Snap focus which pre-focuses at certain distances to make shooting instantaneous. Images are surprisingly good.
