YGMV!!!!! Tremendous stories in those facial lines! The fur coat really enhances her face! The medallion/button really helps break up the fur.
Would you mind telling me what camera ,better yet, what lens you used and how far away you were from her? Did she know you were there? Inquiring minds want to know!

As I stated on your other post, as soon as I saw your composition I immediately wanted to sit by her and talk!

I had the original Q of course with 28/1.7 lens. She sat maybe 5 feet away and I cropped out unwanted background clutter. She must have known I was taking her image, but when I think about it I already had my camera to eye before she sat down. This was January so Winter clothing necessary in Venice that time of year.

Thank you! The frame is outstanding! The isolation tremendous...and as I stated she is a treasure!
It appears that maybe one of the hats "circles" landed below her right eye. Perfect addition!
My mother and her family fled fascist Italy in the 1920s.

That camera combo is most excellent!

It is really a remakable composition! And I don't want to sound like an expert in photography! I am not close! I believe I am experienced enough to comment on a photo technical wise though!
I have not really been drawn to an image as dramatic and emotionally bonding as this! I have viewed many! On line and in galleries. This evokoes professionalism IMHO! My mind absorbed the excellence of the image instantly and went to WOW!!!!!! THIS HAS MADE A "CONNECTION" BEYOND A PHOTOGRAPH!
I am expressing my own opinion and not looking at the OT.'s NAME! That is blank line to me!
This is an EXCEPTIONAL image and I would be very proud to attach my name( OP) to it!
