I believe in TJ's case, the keywords were embedded in the RAW files by Media Pro as a specific additional step to facilitate the transfer of the files with their respective metadata to NeoFinder.
Have you contacted NeoFinder? If not, they're the ones who would be most familiar with the app's capabilities. The few times I've contacted them, they've been pretty responsive. Who knows, if it's not something the app currently supports, they may add it in a future update. They're constantly releasing updates to address bugs and add features.
