p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Ruddy Duck

I was shooting from the East Pond Blind at Jamaica Bay National Wildlife Refuge here in New York City Yesterday. This time of year the preserve is usually full of birds yet as I walked the trail to the East Pond I did not see or hear a single bird. When I arrived at the blind, the mile long and quarter mile wide lake was almost empty with just few Canada Geese visible in the distance. I decided to wait and this paid off as an assortment of ducks swam along the shore very close to my window.

Comments and suggestions welcome,

Morris

Nice close ups from the blind Morris. I especially like the water droplets beading up like water off a ... well, you know, heh.
