Does anyone happen to know if the vignetting between the two versions of the Sony 16-35 2.8 are any different?

I use the Kase magnetic filter system on the original version of this lens and find there is quite a bit of vignetting with a CPL at 16mm. I suppose this is to be expected but I am wondering if it would be the same on the new version of the lens or perhaps better/worse.
