I just returned from Kenya where I had the privilege of seeing Giza, the melanistic leopard. I'd wanted to see her since the first sightings about a year ago so this was a dream come true.

We had lousy, cold and rainy weather and the vehicle had no windshield nor side curtains, so we and the guides were completely soaked on some of the game drives!

She was worth the effort and is a special lady of the night.

Amazing sighting and images, Bob. Well done.

Visiting Giza is top of my list and I think my next safari will include a stop in Laikipia to try and find her. Are you able to share any more details about your trip (your camp, etc.)?
