I had lovely gaplight for a few minutes while shooting at Jamaica Bay National Wildlife Refuge here in New York City. While it had been a quiet day, the ducks took to the air heading home as the sun went down.

@morris - lovely light. iis #2 a godwit or..?

if my memory is correct, you used to shoot with a nikon d500. did you switch to fuji just for the weight saving b/c the x-h2s is not the smallest form factor for fuji camera?

What great light for shooting from below Morris! Usually shooting up at BIF results in dark silhouettes with no detail, but none of that here. Well done.

Shooting ducks in flight can be a challenge, so I can appreciate these photos!

#2 is a Gadwall, for what it's worth. A Godwit is a long-billed shorebird.
