Some great details with the new body. Watch out for those fast burst rates, you can come home with an incredible number of images. Enjoy your new gear.
Morris
Thanks Morris. The burst rate can get out of hand in a jiffy. I am testing the mechanical and electronic shutter and i can tell you i hate the sound of Mech. shutter already

You are off to a great start, looking like an old pro already with that R7.
The exposure and detail are spot on too.
Congrats!
Eric
Thanks Eric

You got some nice sharp images with clean backgrounds from the new gear. You’re going to love what’s possible now, but as Morris mentioned lots more files to go through.
Dave
Thanks Dave. I am pleasantly surprised how the old EF lens work on modern bodies. At f11 the sensor can read and focus all around with TC attached. On my old 5d, all I got was center point at f8

Great shots of one of my favorite birds. I shoot them in my backyard but it is very shady so I don't get nice light like these. Your backgrounds are very nice - did you do some of the blurring in post?
Thanks Jim. No blurring was needed. The subjects were close and 1.6 crop along with 1.4 TC did the rest

Thanks Zenon for sharing. I saw some folks using the cage but not sure if that is for stability or else.

There might be others out there. I just remember conversations about it and knew they existed. That link was just from a random search so I can't back the product.
