It seems the warm weather we have been having in New York City has ended. Yesterday as I stepped out side there was very light snow blowing in the strong wind making the change very noticable. I headed to Oakland Lake as it's sheltered by high hills on three sides. I was delighted to find the usually busy park with fewer human visitors and many birds in the tress and on the water. One section of the park felt particularly warm and there were many birds feeding in the trees including this northern mockingbird.
