I got an email this morning that a new firmware version 2.0.2 is available to download. It is for all the different M camera models.

Anyone know what is in it?

Anyone installed it yet?

Didn’t dare to install yet, but the changes are:

NEW
•
The dust protection function can now be activted manually for lens changes

ERROR CORRECTION
The following errors were remedied:
•
Switching off the camera while in Tethering mode could result in picture losses
•
Tethering malfunction in conjunction with Leica FOTOS
•
The screen would flicker when using the magnification function in Review mode
•
The function setting for Extended Dynamic Range was not saved to User Profiles.
•
The selected user profile would be reset to factory settings when the camera was switched off.

I just did the update through the Photos App. Worked perfectly as always. Best App of its type out there. This time my profile settings stayed in tact. Camera seems to be working fine.

Have you updated the Fotos App? I think there was also an update needed for the App.

App is the latest version. Don't know why it didn't show the new firmware.

I went with the traditional way and updated firmware with SD card.
