p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Differences between Kase Filter Kits

Hi All,

I'm a new photographer, and I'm looking into introducing filters into my setup. I have an A7Riii with a Sony 16-35 F4 PZ, and a Tamron 28-200. My primary goal with photography is to have a quick and handy setup while hiking/backpacking, which has me looking heavily into magnetic filter kits. After doing some research, I've found that the Kase magnetic filter kits are a good price to performance ratio on the high-end, where brands like Maven are a bit out of my price range, and K+F quality seems to be a complaint for many when it comes to color-casting and exposure quality.

My question is: what are the differences between the Kase filter kits? On their website I see they have the Wolverine, Skyeye, and Revolution kit lines that include different filters depending on the kit. However, are there any discernable difference in the quality of the filters themselves, or is the difference just the filters that are included in each kit?

I would appreciate any knowledge/feedback anyone can share about Kase magnetic filter kits, or any filter suggestions in general to a newbie like me. Thanks all!
