I've been modifying RRS base plates for years. Who knows which DLSR the one I now use for my R7 came off. Looks like RRS has a base and modular set.

RRS has a fitted arca base plate for the R7. You can add an L bracket (for double the price). If you want a base plate with grip extension, but no L bracket, there's the WEPOTO:

I've just got one of these https://www.ulanzi.com/products/falcam-quick-release-l-bracket-for-canon-eos-r7-3231 seems pretty sturdy plus it allows full screen movement
