I heard the Owls were back, we had streak of decent weather, so I traveled North, when I got there it was slow and all of sudden. The female Harriers and male put on show and the Owls came out being aggressive towards them. They also seemed more aggressive with each other and fast. It was a fun afternoon with lots of shots.

Wow Chris, what an afternoon! Glad you were able to be there for it. I'd have been tempted to try my hand at some video clips too, with all that going on. (Sorry, I know, I said the V word on FM, heh.)

What shutter speed did you use to freeze Owl flight? I'm hoping to someday find owls in my corner of Wisconsin and would love to learn from what you did.

Wow somehow I missed this post earlier, Chris are these ever nice.I loved them all, two of my favorite subjects. #4 with the grey ghost and precision flight is really great and #6 is beautiful. Are these with a 600 F4
